Signals software is installed on either a Windows NT/2000/2003 server as a service,
or a Windows based standalone PC in the task tray. This allows the
program to run with a very small footprint and continuously monitor
the PC time and date to signal the PC Signals relay device via the
serial port (Com1-4) to sound horns or synchronize wall clocks throughout
the building. |

Signals Config screen
has control for the two relays in the synchronizer box, one which
is commonly used for bells or horns, and a second which can be used
to sychronize wall clocks. There are 5 levels where schedules can
be assigned with a start date. This is to allow for change of schedules
by season etc. When setting up levels, schedules can be copied from
one level to another to save typing time. There is also a manual operate
button for single event singnals like employee meetings or system
testing. |

Signals Scheduler screen
shows the name of the level and effective date and time that this
schedule started or will start. All that is required to add an event
is to enter a description, time and duration, and day of week for
the event and save. There is room for up to 60 events per level, which
should allow room for even the busiest bell schedules. |
